BuzzCon + discount admissions?

This is pretty much directed just at Jeff.

I have a friend who isn't an SF passholder but is interested in attending BuzzCon. Is there anyway she can use an admission discount for the price of the event?

Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."

While I'm obviously not Jeff, I'd bet that the $44 for the event includes a discounted admission. Since ERT is $15 for CBC members with SF passes, it's basically like paying $29 for admission ticket + the $15 for the ERT.

Right... as the instructions on the form indicate, everyone falls into one of four conditions:
Non-passholder & non-member
Non-passholder & club member
Passholder & non-member
Passholder & club member

Simply pay the amount for the category you fall into.

Right. I was thinking about one of those "bring a buddy free" type things, but if that's not permissible, that's cool.

Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."

Is that one of the bring a buddy for free days? Usually, the first day is Mother's Day, and then the others are in like July, Aug., & September. Reguardless, you could prob. use one of those on that day, but your friend would just have to stand outside the park during ERT.
Why would the friend have to stand outside during ERT? All he would have to do is pay the "Passholder" rate. The way *I* read "Passholder" = "Dont need an admission ticket". If the friend could get into the park on a comp ticket, then, for all intents and purposes, the friend would be a "Passholder".

But I'm dumb so dont take my word for it.

No, that's exactly correct. I recall someone last year had a comp ticket for PKI, so for BeastBuzz they only needed the lower-priced ticket for the ERT and lunch. Same would apply here.

I don't know about last year, but CBCon2002 at PKI, I had a comp ticket for PKI and I got in only paying the ERT/Lunch price...
