ACN has posted a massive Disneyland update, featuring 25 photos of Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters, which opened to the public this past Friday.

The update also covers other happenings around the park, include the re-opening of the Disneyland Railroad, Enchanted Tiki Room, and Splash Mountain.

Good job Disney. I'm was able to check out the sneak preview the weekend before last. I must say it was a blast! ;)

Now when Space Mountain opens, and they replace innoventions, and do something with the people mover track, and redo the subs, we'll have a tomorrowland we can be proud of. I'm pretty stoked about the updated paint. And if they continue on the current path, I'll be visiting more often.

Splash was closed which was a little bit of a bummer considering the DRY heat out there...but catching the *sneak preview* of Buzz definitely was a nice surprise addition to the visit...having it malfunction mid-ride so I could sit there and RACK up points, that was just an *added bonus*...:)

Methinks a trip to Disneyland is in order this summer. The place is really looking great! Hey SFMM...see what some new paint can do for a park? Huh?
Word up, Moosh! They can also take note of the reopening of rides!
DL is doing a tremendous job with the park from what I have seen and heard online. The new kid in charge is really cleaning up from how Pressler andHarris raped/pilliaged, and ruined the park.

Even Knotts has repainted much of the park. I know there's been some debate over Fiesta Village's colors [anyone who's actually been to Mexico would know many streets ARE that colorful] but other areas have been spruced up, too and the park looks great!

Kudos to Matt Quemet (we-met) the new President of Disneyland for all the changes. He and the people he brought in have made a world of difference there, and having to battle with Eisner and Iger to get the funding to do it. One of those people Greg Emmer who used to work at Disneyland and was transfered to Disney World in Flordia was reported "appauled" at how things looked and the attitude of cast members. They know the challenges ahead for both DL and California Adventure. Let's hope that new Disney boss Bob Iger will continue to spend the dollars to make things happen.
