Buying a season pass

Im going to SFGAm tomorrow and one of friend's has to get a new pass. But his mom wants to save money so we have to buy it there w/his coupon that they wouldnt take at Jewel. My question is is where do we go to get the ticket that says "season pass (something)" that lets you in the park once and then you get it processed. Do you go in the regular ticket line that people buy their park ticket at or some other building (guest relations i think?)?

Thanks!

You can buy season passes at any open ticket booth, and at guest relations. You'll have to take the season pass certificate to a season pass processing center, which may be located inside the park (I'm not entirely sure for GAm.)

Go to the Guest Relations windows on the very right of the lines. They will hook you up. If your friend's mom is coming along and has an AmEx card, that gets a discount as well.
Will guest realtions still take some coupon my friend has? Maybe it is the AmEx card but if it something else can they take it at guest relations?

Thanks for the answers. This really helps!

Depends, what is the coupon?

I have no idea. But Jewel told him that he could use it at the park. But that probably goes for the ticket booth. But why wouldnt guest relations take it if they also take season passes?

If the park takes it, they will accept it at guest relations. In the rare event that they don't, they can tell you where to take it.

Check the coupon for an expiration date. If it's already expired then your screwed, but if not then you can take it to any of the ticket windows. The coupon has a certian number on it (probably in a corner) that is used for the transaction. It doesn't matter whether or not its at a ticket booth or the GR window, you'll get the same thing as long as the coupon is valid.

Its not if the coupon is valid or anything. Its just if he can take it to guest relations and get it there instead of waiting in the ticket line.

Yes, guest relations should handle everything.
