Butterfly restraints on old megaloopers

I was just reading a thread about retrofittng old arrow trains with new ones to reduce roughness. I was thinking that instead of rplacing the entire train, just get rid of the OTSRs, and put on butterfly restraints like those on X. These restraints make riding X incredibly comfortable. So since there is nothing for one's head to hit while in a butterfly harness, then theoretically retrofitting these on to older Arrows could improve their ride experiences. Is this a reasonable possibility? Is this feasible (sp?) in terms of train modifications?

How would you sit down? You are already shoved down into the side of the train. How woudl you be able to cross over to the second seat or be able to sit down at all as the restraint would not open enough.

Good point(s). Provided that those two problems could be fixed, then would this be a good way to improve the roughness of all the older Arrow loopers? How could these problems of getting in and fitting the harnesses in be fixed, if it is possible to fix them?

Without a completley new train design sans running gear I don't think it could be fixed

Would really have to replace the whole train, they just wouldn't fit. The carriage isn't designed for that. As far as I know, Arrow hasn't come up with a replacement train for their sit down coasters that uses these restraints. Maybe they designed one in secret, but they ran out of money before they could mock one up.
