Not only do I fail to see a good reason for it, but I fail to see how they can enforce it.

At Dorney they wouldn't even let me take my camera on the ferris wheel. If you have a smaller camera you could stick it a number of places (ewwww!) and simply get on.

Lots of parks seem to be cracking down on where photos are taken from this year - in my experience at least.

Lazily partaking in the point is definitely a good thing. Glad you all had a good time. Jeff, you gonna be at the park this sunday? If so, ill be looking for ya!

I still dont see why they dont let you take in water bottles other than to try to force you to buy what they see in the park. Even SFGAM doesnt go that far and they have never bothered us at all about water bottles and we usually bring in 4-5 frozen bottles of water to start the day.
Back when i was there in July they told me the same thing when i was on the giant wheel and you know what? I took pictures anyway. What are they going to do ,take my camera? i think not.
They COULD escort you from the park for not obeying the rules. I'm sure snapping a picture or two on the giant wheel wouldn't cause this to happen, but doing something such as taking onride video on several coasters over a two day period could lead to problems, right guys? ;)

Grumble. Hey, atleast *I* didn't get VOID stamped all over *my* arms...that long rainy walk to the gate still sucked big time, though. This is only the second time this season the person I was attending the park with got kicked out...maybe I should go for a few more;).

Let me see if I can make some sense. $270 during the on season at CP...I believe it. That's why I took vacations to Arizona in the summer.

I hear you on the sun. I witnessed my school (Kent State) get beat by Ohio State. My forehead, arms and knees are burned. My nose already is blistering.

some hotel issues, I was a tad surprised. (wouldn't you be @ $270.00 a night!)

Only if it wasn’t so freakin sunny out! My skin is just starting to flake from the burn.
