These parks are on oppisite sides of town. I'm not familiar enough with the areas that water parks usually draw from to know just how much they would be competing.
This isn't the first proposed water park Six Flags has squashed in the area. I'm just worried that Six Flags may bail out of building one and then we end up with nothing. It's all talk and plans right now and appears to be nothing immediate or sure for the construction of a "Hurricane Habor" or whatever they'll name it. At least Zephyrland was going to begin construction soon and open next year. I'll bet there's more pressure now from the state since they obviously want Six Flags to build one.
