Bush Gardens Tampa worth it?

I am most likely the only person who thinks this thread is very amusing. Or, as Cartman from South Park would say..."This is super interesting, I hope I get to read about more bitching all day."

It's been a long time since I have been to Busch Garden's Tampa. Back then, the only coasters were Scorpion and the Python. I think and all day admission was $18.00, and, I just loved the park. Well worth the money with some great rides, shows, scenery, and cool animals. The only place I have ever been where you see Alligators sitting behind a wooden fence just feet from a walkway.

I think the admission price today might be a bit on the high side. However, if you include all the rides, shows, and animal attractions, I think it's right on the money. As it must cost them a fortune to maintain, plus house and care for all those animals. Insurance must be insanely high, more for people's interaction with so many animals that may become unpredictable, like the albotross that gave me a terrible gut punch to get my ice cream cone.

Also, complaining about 3 hours to ride all the rides, makes my head spin. You're lucky to get on one ride at Cedar Point in that time. I would love that! That's even better odds then the rides at MA.

And, for the spell checkers. Sorry ahead of time. I know my punctuation is awful. Boo hoo.

I didn't do it! I swear!!

I'm going to assume you are completely oblivious to the irony of this paragraph.

Look, it's obvious from the first post that English is their first language. Did you read it? Poor grammar and punctuation from someone who speaks fluent English is quite different than someone speaking and typing Engrish.

The op tried to complain about a park's pricing after speeding through in three hours and they posted it in the tr forums.

But, you know, whatever.

park' sprucing

This is for my reference only. I figure I'll probably stumble upon this thread years from now and not have a clue why I posted the Picard pic.

I would never complain about a park's sprucing... ;~P

Predictably turning a thread about Busch Gardens and grammar into a complaint about Cedar Point and Michigan's Adventure in ...

Busch Gardens Tampa is the best park in Florida is you are a coaster enthusiast. Their ride collection has both quantity and quality. Between the roller coasters and the animal exhibits I'd say BGT is the park I can spend the most time in and visit the most often in FL and never get tired of it.

I think it's worth it, especially if you're local. BGT is the only true amusement park in Florida. Strip away the animals, the themeing, the free beer (RIP :-( ) and you have a great amusement park. Good selection of coasters, each one of the best of its kind. The trifecta of a great flume, rapids, and chutes rides for hot Floridian days, some great flats, good food, a unique drop ride... and Gwazi. (Unfortunately.)
