On day two of our 2010 Road Trip we hit Busch Gardens Williamsburg for the first time. We took the Roller Coaster Insider Tour that took us to several of the coaster maintenance areas as well as the top of Griffon to take pictures.
See the photos on Negative-G.
I thought there was an age limit to do the BGW Coaster tour. My daughter would love to do this but wan't old enough when we went last year. IIRC she is 3 years older then Bond.
Before you can be older and wiser you first have to be young and stupid.
14 years old is the minimum according to BG's site.
I'm betting that they made an exception because he was a young coaster celebrity. It's fun watching the kid become more and more of a coaster enthusiast throughout the years.
I'll say it again. I really enjoy Negative-G's updates.
There is a non rider rate for the tour which is something like $35 but they said that since he was tall enough to ride to book it for the full tour rate and he'd be good.
The only frustrating thing about the tour was you HAVE to buy the tickets in pairs.
Have Fun
Paul
