Busch Gardens Williamsburg on Google Streetview

It's just like you're there!OK, not quite, but it's still pretty interesting, especially if you haven't been there in a few years.

I love that Google is mapping out amusement parks in streetview! I can visit the far away parks all I want now! lol

Also, I never knew how incredible Legoland in CA was until I virtuially visited it using streetview. When I get out that way, I plan on visiting the park now because of it.

Wow this is amazing. I've been to that park twice, and this just brings back good memories. Yet another reason for me to be a google fanboy.

I call Cedar Point my home park even though I live in the Chicago Suburbs.

BGT too. Kinda neat.

AND...

...Both water parks near the two Busch Gardens parks as well!

I've been to both water parks, Tampa just a few years ago, and Water Country when I was in 6th grade, which was umm... decades ago. It was really great to street view Water Country. That park has changed a lot since my last visit. :)

Oh, and they street viewed Aquatica too. I haven't been there yet, but wow, does it look amazing!

WCUSA is one of my favorite water parks in the country. If it wasn't for Schlitterbahn it probably would be my favorite (and Ive been to Noah's Ark, the Disney Parks, Splashin Safari and Waterworld in Denver.)

As an adult the park is still pretty cool, especially as you discover all the little touches hidden around the park (lego ducks floating in a pond of real ducks!). If you can send the adult in you away and remember what it's like to be a kid, when stomping in a puddle or pushing the buttons in an elevator was enough to make you happy, you'll really enjoy the park. Adults can ride most of the rides and some of the them are just silly enough to enjoy as a "pseudo-kid" lol. Even better: go with a group of likeminded friends and you'll truly have a blast.

If I remember correctly, it all started at Disneyland Paris.

Very cool! I'm still having a little trouble navigating though...

How do they do it?

Wonder if Bing has any plans to go into some parks? I find their Streetside view far more immersive when moving about and generally better than Google's Streetview (even if there's much less coverage right now) - just like their Bird's Eye view is way better than Google's Satellite view.

With this. :)

Awesome Gonch. I read up on how it was done somewhere along the way, but I never saw a photo of the contraption.

I find some of the curious expressions that people have in some of the street view panoramic park photos very amusing. "What the hell is that guy riding through the park?" lol

...And sometimes they follow the bike for a little while too. It cracks me up! :)

That discribes me perfectly. :)
