ChiTown, MSAP is also in FL, but not open year 'round. Of course, it's the panhandle, so it's not "really" FL....

Yes, BGT is open all year, we ride 'em in January and February when the "snowbirds" come down to visit the sun.....

Yes, the park is open year round, just like most of the other Florida parks.

Cedar Point vs. SFMM-like 15 isnt enough?

Winter time is the best when all the kids are in school. Season Pass is great year round rides in Florida.

Yes it is. For more detailed information, you can easily find hours of opperation on their official website.

That's why BGT and IOA sell those things called "annual passes" as opposed to "seasonal passes". "Annual" is usually a clue that a park is open year-round.

Sorry, that really sounded b*itchy. I was actually aiming for mildly facetious and evidently got carried away...;)

We heard they were open 365days, so we went in march... but when we arrived, there was a guy locking the place up. We asked him about them being open 365 days... he said "Yes, but not in a row."

(Okay, so I was blantently stealing from Steven Wright)

Face it, call ourselves what we want, but to the parks we are all "GP".

One thing I should mention....coming in the "Winter" does have one potentially significant drawback. Since we don't close Florida for the Winter (heisted from Vacation), we do have to do ride rehab during the off-peak times. Kumba got a major overhaul in '00, and has returned to its previous grace/fluidity.

So it may be a good idea to coontact the park to try and find out about any major closures.....Montu seems fine to me track-wise, and Gwazi too, so I don't "expect" anything major, but you never know.....

What did Kumba get?
Yep, it is open year round. I went this past January and basically walked on every ride. They change the operating schedule a bit in the winter months.
