Busch Gardens Tampa New Coaster

I'm going to Florida next week, and a trip to BGT is a must. Does anyone know if Cheetah Chase has opened yet?

CoasterGirl....the last word from BGT was "opening in February". The latest pics I saw suggest that construction is likely completed by now and they're probably just waiting on the State to come down and cert. the ride. As a former State of FL employee, (now we're just UF, the state is hip-deep in privatization) I can tell you that *nothing* gets "rush" priority in FL State Gov't.

My advice: Go and have a great time, and *expect* that CC won't be opened yet....IF you're lucky enough to catch CC open, be thankful....and make sure to let us know how it is...;)

I'll be there last weekend in February, so I'm hoping it will be open. It was closed when we went to BGW last spring.
