*yawn* ;)
I was thinking of the "screw New England" tune as well, Matt Scott. And to whomever said NJ is not NEngland, I would be going to DP as well, which is in NE. :)

Florida, here I come!

Swoosh, not quite.....Dorney's in PA, which still isn't New England per se...

Now, SFNE, Lake Compounce, Funtown, those ARE in New England....but Manhattan still makes the betta chowda...;)

RCTyrant - what master plans are you looking at that *don't* show the layout you described? That's almost exactly what's in those two little pictures on BGT's site. The only thing missing is that helix and the inline you speak of, and the helix according to your layout is beyond the scope of either picture.
New England consists of (I'm pretty sure) Mass, Conn, New Hampshire, R.I.(?), Maine(?) and maybe 1 or 2 more. NJ, PA, and NY are not New England:).

The pix look alot like that layout pic describing the inline and bunny and helix. maybe they just didn't mention those as of yet...We're still a ways off from opening, so they may end up on there.

Vermont, Clint...;)
New England is: Maine, Vermont, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and perhaps New York if you feel like it. The Mid-Atlantic is perhaps New York, definitely Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and perhaps Virginia. Need I go on?? ;)

Nobody considers New York part of New England.
I do.

From http://education.yahoo.com/reference/encyclopedia/entry?id=33763

New England

The name applied to the region comprising six states of the NE United States–Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. The region is thought to have been so named by Capt. John Smith because of its resemblance to the English coast (another source has it that Prince Charles, afterward Charles I, inserted the name on Smith's map of the country). Topographically it is partly delineated from the rest of the nation by the Appalachian Mts. on the west. From the Green Mts., the White Mts., and the Berkshire Hills the land slopes gradually toward the Atlantic Ocean. Many short, swift rivers furnish water power. The Connecticut River is the region's longest river.

SheiKra looks amazing! Oh man next season is gonna be crazy! I might need to get a third job and start planning now. ;)
Hey what happened to my signature?

LOL Rentzy17...I'm just trying to provide info, albeit off-topic from BGT's new coaster [which looks WAY better than I'd anticipated!]

Wow, just some awesome stuff coming our way from B&M. There is no doubt that these guys want their market back!

I wonder if they changed anything design wise.
So are 'we' calling this "Kra?"

Sounds a little close to "Ka" to me.

Where's the video?
Im just glad that once again they are doing it right. I can honestly say that the overall experience on Montu and Kumba are matched only by a couple other parks like IOA

This ride features everything the Euro trip riders liked and a ton more.

Good for BGT.

Chuck, who says if they would add flying scooters he's be there tomorrow! :)

Where's the animation and layout? Can't see anything related to media than the three pics at the park website.
I am amazed not by the announcement of this ride, but by how many people on here actually seem to think it's named after the pop star Shakira.

It's SheiKra, not Shakira people, totally different pronunciation. I would assume there is something behind the capital "K" in the middle of the name.

Lord help us if the actually started naming rides after celebrities.

For crap's sake, volleyguy, the Shakira thing is a joke. We're not morons.
