This TR is long overdue, I went to BGT in March. We left at 10 from Sarasota, so we had a bit of a drive and we where late. When we arrived it was getting cloudy. We got in line for the Lion side on Gwazi. They where running 1 train, and we waited about 15 minutes until we got to the station. As our ride was nearing, they shut the ride down. They did this because there was lightning near the park. They told us to leave the line. We figured it would be open later-We figured wrong. It rained heavily the whole day. It was very dissapointing because we paid near 200 dollars to get in the park. We where soaked, and so we decided to go for a show. It was the nation show and it was lame. They started it late, but they did show Kraken footage while we where waiting. The next 30 minutes felt like an hour, it was a boring musical show about the nations of the world, after that we left to eat at KFC, while we where on the tram, the driver told us she was sorry, but they needed this rain, at least she was honest. When we came back, we stopped at the ticket booth and explained how much we paid to get in, the guy felt sorry for us, and gave us tickets for the next day. The rest of the day was eneventful, and we left at around 7pm. The next day we got there right when the park opened. It was a nice day, and we where hoping it would last. We got in line for Gwazi, the lion side and the line was so slow. We waited 2 hours, they where very slow, 1 train on each side. When we finally got on, everything changed. The ride was awesome, I can't describe it because it twists around so much, it was a good way to start the day. Next we went on Montu. This ride was a walk on, and it was the best inverted coaster I've been on. It was very smooth, the inversions where great, and I love the foot chopping effects. We re-rode this one and then we where of to Kumba. This was another walk on, and we got front row. This ride is another example of B&M's greatness. The first drop is awesome, a huge ride. The pace keeps up through the whole thing, I even got some air on this one, it (kumba) currently ranks as my third favorite coaster with montu right behind it. Next we went on Python. Not much to say about this ride> it's incredibly pointless, the seats are uncomfortable and it is very rough, my little brother liked it and since he can't ride Kumba or Montu, we re-rode this one. Then we wnt to Kumba again, and there was no line. We re-rode it 6 times, it got better each time. After that we decided to eat, and ate at the Crown Colony building. The food is really expensive, but it is pretty good. After that we rode Montu twice, and headed to ride the Scorpion. This was my first coaster ever, (i was 5) and i liked it, but now it seemed like a kiddie ride. When we got on, i was fretting a bit because they had no OTSR's and there was a loop (i thought it had OTSR's before?) The ride was very fun, the loop was intense, and we re-rode it for my brothers sake. Next we hit the Phoenix. This is a looping ship, and it was intense, it was fun so we re-rode it twice. Then we hit Kumba and Montu once more before calling it a day. The staff was really friendly, and it is a really clean park, I reccomend BGT for anyone visiting FLA.

March that was a long time ago.
Yeah, BGT is a great park. Both Kumba and Montu are amazing.
