Busch Gardens Europe teases dive machine

Posted | Contributed by Jeff

The announcement is a few weeks off, but a video on the Busch Gardens Europe site reveals that their new ride will be 205 feet tall.

See the tease on The official Busch Gardens Europe site.

Wow it is going to be Blue!
Interesting how they have the D.I.V.E. messages at the bottom :)
Do the lift hills of dive machines really look like that?
Where's the chain, dude! :)

Pretty lame animation. They should've hired Virtual Image Productions instead.
^That's what I was thinking. Every other park seems to have moved to VIP for animation.

Now that I think about it Holiday World didn't.

Quite a few have been using No Limit's Professional (or whatever) from what I understand.
HW had a video produced from NoLimits Pro for the Voyage animation.
That animation almost looked a little RCT3ish to me... except the frame rate was better on the animation :)
After next season, this park will more than likely seal the deal as one of the most enjoyable parks in the country for me. I already just LOVE the park, and with this addition it could only make it that much better.
VIP was actually in the running to do their animation, and for some crazy reason, the park chose another company. Hopefully the reason was because it was free :)

What a lame teaser - why show anything at all if it is just going to be a poor quality boring video segment like that? Looks like it might be the same people who did the Skeikra animation...

Wahhhhhhhh the park didnt spend enough money on thier video. Who cares I rather they spend thier money on up keep and atractions.
I love the park! But I am not kooking forward to this ride yet. Unless they do a lot more with it. SheiKra was a let-down for me.
BG Nut, obviously you didn't read the article where parks that have used Keith have praised how accurate his renderings are–-especially in relation to other park attractions.
Busch Gardens Europe is my favorite park in the world. it's clean, it's beautiful, and while it may only have four coasters, each one is a perfect archetypes of its type. Loch Ness Monster is probably the best old looping arrow, Apollo's Chariot is definitely one of the best B&M Hypers, Alpengeist is just in a class all its own, and Big Bad Wolf is the best suspended i've ridden. kudos to busch for focusing on quality over quantity, and for running a great park.
^Definitely have to agree.Three hours in at PKD, I gotta take a breather from the head rush factors of the rides and coasters, and the potent smell of tar everywhere you go. At Busch, its about re-rides and enjoying the park. Updating my pass for '07 next week for sure.As for the tease, really gives me all I need to know, as far as ride placement and direction. Good enough for me. Let's hope its not a complete carbon copy of Sheikra, as the clip seems to suggest.
I like the teaser, even though it wasn't VIP or NL, it is still better than the Sheikra video. The track didn't even look B&M on that one. Those colors will be awesome. And they could have just put words on a black screen, they didn't have to show what they did so I don't have any complaints.
^^ Actually, according to the clip, the ride seems like it will not be a carbon copy of Sheikra, and may be much different. The Midcourse, and second vertical drop, can be seen in front of the lifthill, whereas Sheikras is behind the lifthill and would be out of view in such an animation.

Good Lord -

Keith, we all know you could've done a HUGE amount better than that POS!

-Jeffro-

Heck I could have done better than that (at least made some sort of chainlift!!).
