Building underground in RCT3?

Well, it's been a while since i posted here. =P But i just recently bought RCT3 (yeah i know i'm late). So here i am trying to put my coasters through tunnels, when i realize it's not working. I've looked through the forums for answers, and even read the instruction manual (a first), but nothing on going underground. So natually i bring up the question:

Can it be done?

And if so, can anyone care to explain how?

Yeah i feel like a n00b as it is asking about this kind of stuff, but i really would appreciate some help. Thanks.

first of all you can't build tunnels and build undergraound with just rct3, you need the expansion Soaked to do that. ONce you have soaked you can build undergound just exactly how you did with rct2.
