Building coaster car centerpieces / need suggestio

I'm planning to build coaster cars as centerpieces for our wedding reception tables.

Looking for ideas on how to scale down a single car, such as a Boulder Dash car, where to find drawings or other useful info on this type of car.

Plan on building out of wood, painting and sticking a label on the front. The inside of the car may not be finished to leave room for a candle or flowers.

Any help would be appreciated, CoasterEd.
