Bug in RCT2's program

I think I discoverd a bug in RCT2's program and am wondering if anyone else has the same bug. When I start deleting track (on any coaster) from a mid point in the ride and then delete the last piece on an end the track "turns into" a station platform that is permantly in its flashed (sort of washed out) look that you get when you havent placed a track piece on the map yet. The bug is you cannot delete this suposedly invisable non existant track and the game recognizes it as part of the ride (even if it is not connected) and you cannot run the ride because it thinks there is an incomplete circuit. I know for a fact that this was not a problem in RCT1 or any of its add ones and I am curious if it is just my disc or a program problem.

I don't care what anyone says, Magnum is better then Millenium Force.

I get the same problem too sometimes. The only way to get rid of them is to reconnect the piece of station platform to the ride itself and then delete that whole part. Then you can re-attach the ride again. It's complicated.

I've never seen that happen. I wonder what the difference is?

It's happened to me too. Not to mention, the program crashes all the time (mostly when I'm working with the Giga or a racing coaster) and RCT1 never crashed on me.

yea Matt, same things happen to me as well...
Yes, this is a an annoying bug that I've witnessed a few times as well.

It's still me, here from the beginning back in 1999. Add 1500+ posts to the number I have in the info section if you care about such things.

I have the dueling coaster problem, also. I was actually just building one about 30 min. ago when the game crashed. This was the fourth time.
I had a similar problem, with scenery. When I was adding a pirate ship(scenery piece, not the ride) once it added it when I was rotating the landscape. It didn't add the normal piece, but the washed out preview piece. It counted as part of the coaster too! I couldn't delete it, selecting it selected the coaster but I couldn't select the part and delete it like the rest of the track and station pieces. I had to save the whole thing with scenery(I wasn't about to start over again), which saved it as a normal piece, reload the whole thing, remove the piece and save again. Sheeesh!
