Amusement Today is reporting Miracle Strip's Starliner has been saved and will be relocated to one of Kent Buescher's two parks, Cypress Gardens or Wild Adventures, and is likely to open for the 2006 season.

Whew that was a close call. Thanks Mr. Buescher for saving one of my fav woodies!
Now if we can just get him to buy LeSourdsville Lake that would be even better!
Hallelujah!
In an interview with the park owner, the latest edition of FUN WORLD magazine stated that Cypress Gardens will have 2 wooden coasters in operation in 2005. Of course, they declined to name the 2nd woodie but I am beginning to thing this may be a subtle hint as to where this ride will end up. And yes, it's perfectly possible for this coaster to be relocated and rebuilt and in operation before '06.
