Buckeye Lake Plans?

Hey everyone, how are you doing? I was just wondering what happened with the Buckeye Lake Park plans? Weren't they suppose to be building a new park or something in 2004? If you have any info, I'd like to know! Thanks!

While that link in the article no longer works, I think there were no definite dates. I have the impression they want to take their time with research and fundraising to make the park historically accurate.

I can imagine since most, if not all of the land is owned by the State of Ohio, getting permission requires probably involves exact details, impact, and a model. I say give them a year or two. Buckey Lake state park gets one million visitors a year so they are pretty much building at an already established location.
