How long would the park survive and if what kind of new rides will there be or will there be any newer coasters? Is Buckeye Lake currently still a defunct park? Interesting...

In what location of Ohio is Buckeye Lake?

It's in I think Melboure Ohio. It will probably only have the Dips and maybe a galaxi (as well as some new and old flat rides and a recreated ballroom). Apparently it is in or near a state park which gets 500k people/year. Not too bad. Buckeye Lake won't be defunct for too much longer! I've seen pics of the Dips and the front will be where it's at (it was built completely over water which you could see through the tracks. Here is a BL site:

That would be awesome, why because I live in a little town next to Buckeye Lake, called Hebron. I havw always seen pics of the park and it didn't look like a bad park and maybe this will clean up Buckeye Lake a tad bit.

Buckeye Lake is located in Buckeye Lake, OH. It's at the bottom of licking county, about the center.

Let's not get too excited. It sounds like it is just going to be a little park, which is not a bad idea with the three mega-parks Ohio has.
I wouldn't get too excited until more details come out.  Coming from the Youngstown are there were a couple of decades of speculation that buyers would come forward and breath life into Idora Park.  Alas it is no more.

I understand that Buckeye lakes success really involved picknicking so maybe they can start there and rebuild from that point.
