B:TR (SFGAm) Improvements (Long)

With the recent news of Viper being removed at Six Flags Over Georgia, I just though of an idea.

It would be cool with the Tidal Wave came back to SFGAm and that Batman: The Ride would be removed from it's current location and be placed somewhere else in the park.

With the improvements. First of all, make the ride longer! The ride is fitted in such a smaller area that the G-force is very strong. "They" could make the inversions at different points, like maybe 200 feet from apart. The inversions: loop, zero-G-roll, and loop on B:TR are too close to each other and "you" don't get enough time to realize what is happening.

Place B:TR behind Shockwave and Iron Wolf, on that open land.

The themeing with the ride right now is awesome, but "they" should add a couple of new ideas into the themeing.

As anyone seen the straight track right before the Immelman on Great Bear. Well, maybe "they" could do that with the re-location of the ride, but the straight track would go under ground. "They" could theme the tunnel as the Bat Cave. They could put "batman's ride" in the cave and his "working area" (computers, TV's, and his "changing area:" to get into his costume).

The lift could be 170 feet. The drop could be 150 feet, and go into a 130 foot loop. "They" (park management) could add two more inversions to the ride.

Anyone else have some ideas?

Yes, they should move Batman and re-locate Tidal Wave. But, I don't think, if they moved it, that it would change that much. I mean, your looking at almost a brand new coaster.

Enough of the "they." But that would be stupid to ruin such a great coaster. What you don't like inversion after inversion? That's the best thing about the B:TR clones, it's compact, not too big or small, and tons of G's which I love.

And it was the first inverted coaster, so it should stay the way it is for the sake of being a classic (well maybe not a classic but you know what i mean :) ).

Yes, "they" could, but "they" wouldn't.
I think Batman the Ride is one of the best inverts out there since everything is so compact, its awesome to have the stuff right after another.  I don't really want Title Wave back anyhow, we have a Bommerang and a Impulse coaster.  We need to get another full circuit coaster.  I would much rather them get a 4d and build it around Shockwave.

If SFGAm where to bring Tidal Wave back, why don't they just put it somewhere else, Think of how much work it would be to disassemble Batman, move it, and then assemble it again. I for one, could care less if they put it in Southwest Territory(aside from obvious theming difficulties), at least it would be better than nothing.

Iron Wolf: Can you stand it?

"They" is quite annoying. Quit with the quotes Stealth, we all know who they are, they are SFGAm management. We got it! Now stop it with your overuse of quotes. It is very annoying. In fact, it is just as annoying as typing THEY. It over-emphesizes a word which needs no emphasis.
Your sugestion is good in one way. It returns Tidal Wave to it's home. I belive the same thing should happend, B:TR moved to another area in the park, Tidal Wave returned. Then, retheme V2 to fit with Yankee Harbor, and then it will have a theme again!
As for changing B:TR's design, that is as bad as the person who sugested Whizzer be replaced with a mine train in another thread. Don't touch B:TR's layout. Don't increase lift hieght. Don't change the distance between inversions. It is what it is, and that is what makes it so good. I would hate it if it was slower paced. Fast paced rocks, and your saying it should be a slower pace. If you think it's too fast, oh well. Tough ****. Pay B&M to build you an inverted to your likings in your back yard. B:TR's layout is just fine.

Hey, SFGAm management, can I buy a couple cages of Sky Whirl?

Yeah, plus if you don't have any inversions for awhile it gets pretty boring, especially for an invert.

I don't know why "They" would do all that, why don't "they" just move Tidal Wave, and leave Batman: The Ride in it's spot. That would cost "them" a lot of money.

*HINT* the italics and "s are annoying....

Seriously though, Why go through all the trouble of moving B:TR just to put Tidal Wave? Can't they move Tidal Wave to a different spot, or is it an SFGAm thing?

Ricochet: Bouncing to you in 2002, Only at King's Dominion!

I like to italic the ride names. That is what "they" do on the Roller Coaster Rollback.

If you can't deal with it, tough!!!

I don't want to hear your whining.

PT300 - "They" is the park management.

Who's "they?" ;)

Parks for 2001: SFEG, Lakeside,Funtown USA, Palace Playland, HP,BGW,PKD,Alton Towers.
Stealth, if you don't want to hear our whining, don't instigate us. You are trying to make us ***** at you now, as you are BOLDING your quotation marks. Do yourself and everyone else a favor, and GROW UP! Your are purposly trying to annoy us by doing that, and it's showing just how immature you really are.

And your itallicizing coaster names because RCRB does it? Well, a good thing about that is immitation is a form of flattery.

BTW, I miss our chats, IM me sometime :-P
Looks like you have to hear our whining anyways. I think I just whined.

ßruce: I totally agree. Would it kill everyone if Tidal Wave was moved to a different spot?(if it even comes back at all)I really like Batman where it is, I know some people that rode Tidal Wave when it was@SFGAm want it exactly where it was, but moving B:TR isnt as simple as it seems, it would be a lot easier, if Tidal Wave got a new spot.

Iron Wolf: Can you stand it?

First of all, GAm just built two shuttle coasters this year (Deja Vu is considered a GIB just as it is called a shuttle) Why would they want another one? Plus, Deja Vu isn't even open yet, and before they start to build any other attractions, I think they will open Deja Vu first. And I don't expect to see a coaster in the next two years, so I doubt Tidal Wave will come back to GAm. Probably a smaller SF park.
Tidal Wave should come back even though we have 2 new shuttles. We should have never given it away in the first place. It could fit almost anywhere in the park. I could go next to Deja Vu, or, they could put in by all the open space by Shockwave. Here's a cool idea- Have Tidal Wave's loop go through the on ride photo section on Shockwave. That would look really cool.
I have the anwer for everybody. The solution to stop this senseless bickering. Have Kiddieland or Santas Village buy Viper. That way SFGAm doesnt have to deal with it but the coaster would still be brought back to the Chicago area.
Now, isnt that much more relieving? No moving Batman, and no nitpicking of saying "they".

I agree with Chi Town on this one. Santas village needs a new coaster. Typhoon is jerky and rough.
alls i have to say is that Trbiggar and Stealth are both pathetic losers. if u want to fight about something as stupid as quoting and italics you all need to get a life. it seems to me that this site revolves around your life. i know i sound hostile but im sick of you two correcting everybody and acting like you know everything.
