Isn't the Astroworld one still for sale somewhere? No one would know the difference.

Online petitions don't do squat. Just look at Vater: he's still irregular.

Would people recognize the difference between the flywheel launch and the weight-drop launch? I mean, besides Dave...and some of the Anton freaks. ;)

Like in baseball, it's only fair that it go back the way it came. If you run from 1st to 2nd to 3rd, you can't just cross the mound to get back to 1st, you have to pass 2nd again. Bring Viper back to Six Flags over Georgia!

Amen to that. Sadly, there is a nice, newly refurbished one stored in Texas. Boy it'd be nice if some park would pick it up.

The one in Kentucky doesn't need a new home yet. ;)

I know the difference between the 2 Anton Shuttles :) They are different in several ways, including the way they feel.

The newer ones get higher marks it seems (Montezuma's, TX GLightnin') but the old ones are just fine to me as well. It's a launch that actually feels like falling, but horizontally (I feel the same way about the old Intamin Free falls - it feels like a dead weight dropping).

If only we could get enough signatures on Vater's bran muffin petition, maybe the poor man could squat and he'd feel a whole lot better.

Before I go signing any petitions for Six Flags, I think the next most deserving petition would be to get Professor Brian a pony. Just read his depressing post from the CF platinum pass thread.

Brian: "I was really steamed that Busch Gardens didn't give me my own pony when I bought my bounce pass this summer. I mean, I was in Williamsburg! Everyone should have a pony!"

I agree. We really should start a petition to get Brian a pony. Teachers are hard-working, under-paid, under-appreciated professionals. He really deserves a pony.

So let's get Vater his muffin, Brian a pony, and then worry about some silly ride at Six Flags.
