Millennium Force - Any other questions?
Attendance was so low that as I got off Millennium Force, people were allowed to go right through the special access gate and get right back on the train they just got off of. I just don't think they should let bozo terrorists influence any of their decision making-if thats what happened.

When I went the first year of MM, you were allowed to go through the special access gate as soon as you got off. But I think the untimely MF mishap along with its subsitution of Vertigo really kept the crowds low.

Welcome back riders, how was your ride...Enjoy your day, here at Cedar Point, America's roller coast.
Did anyone go the final Friday last year? Crowds then were far from low then, Millennium Force's line was up to 15 minutes at some point. It was the first nice day of the event last year and there may have been even more people save the stuff on 9-11 did not happen.
I went on the last two days of MM. The Thursday was kinda weak for a couple of reasons: the weather was not the greatest (very cloudy then it began to rain big FAT rain!) and the other reason naturally being that it was the first public outing for many after 9-11. The country as a whole was still deciding wether or not the get on with the business of life. Many were still glued to the television set. Due to this, the lines were amazingly short. (almost non-existent in some cases) MF was nothing short of a walk-on all day. Heck, they all were if I remember right. I totally lost count on how many laps I got in.
On Friday, the story changed quite a bit I think. The wether changed for the better. The sun poked out and warmed up nicely. (still a bit breezy if I recall but pleasant nonetheless) The lines built up to 15-20 minute waits on MF as they had roped off a couple of seats. I don't remember about the other coasters much. I just did this massive MF marathon that day. (sprinkled with a couple of other coasters as "cool-down" time) It was a blast no doubt!
I for one am really going to miss MM. Last year was my first year and I was really hoping for a repeat this year. I held out hope despite all that I read on the forums across the internet, but all that was smashed at CoasterMania when the question was asked whether or not it will be held this year. (The answer was no of course) I just wish we could do something about it and try to convince CP to do it again this year. Heck, I'd even pay more money to get in to an event like this!

I also think it was a combination of MF being down the first week of MM, and the terrorist attack the second week.
I was there the final Friday and can vouch that the weather was wonderful, and lines for MF were 15-20 minutes. Everything else: Raptor, Mantis, Magnum and Power Tower were pretty much walkons.
BUT, I'm still not sure if attendance for either year was high enough to warrant MM continuing. In fact, I was quite suprised that they had it last year.
