Brief Encounter

I was looking at Beech Bend's new train for Brief Encounter (ex-Looping Star) on RCDB and was wondering if it was made by Pinfari. It looks much better than the old train. This is a pretty intense looper...one of the tightest loops, if not *THE* tightest loop I've ridden. Hope the new train makes it more re-rideable. Anyone have any info on the train?

Here's a link to the RCDB pic:

I survived a Japanese typhoon and the Togo flat ride of death!!!!!!
Those are new Pinfari trains I think. I remember seeing something like that at the Pinfari IAAPA booth in 2003.

Pretty nice they're refurbishing their little coaster!

I looked at the title of this post and automatically thought it would be something about Fruit of the Loom underwear or something similair. My bad. ;)

Carry on...

I didn't realize it was getting new trains. It was pretty intense the one time a rode it last year.

Brief Encounter? What kind of f***** up name is that? :-)

They had a "re-name the ride" contest.

Brief Encounter lost... ;)

I guess that's the breaks when you're a Pinfari...:)

It Sounds like one of those crazy foreign coaster names that doesnt traslate to direct english so well (like im sure it would sound neat in german or japanese)... cool trains though. *** Edited 11/29/2005 3:18:05 PM UTC by P18***

Maybe they SHOULD of just named it the "Fruit Of The Loom" ride. ;-)

Guess they didn't want to call it a "Quickie."
/\ LOL, yeah, might have sounded even more like an ambiguous porno title. *** Edited 11/29/2005 7:08:26 PM UTC by P18***

Nah, it's sponsored by FTL. ;)

You guys are cracking me up. Somehow I knew my post would turn into this lol. Personally I prefer boxers.

i'm not sure what to put here..

One more product line for SFI to work in. Except Snyder would probably pick Tommy Hilfiger or Calvin Klein. The "Calvin Klein Brief Encounter" ---would you ride it?
^Sounds like a 3D ride. ;)

I would ride a ride called Victoria's Secret: The Ride!

^Nah, it would be too fancy of a ride and probably uncomfortable. Looks are deceiving anyway.

Hanes Her Way: The Ride would be better. Better restraints, more comfortable, etc. :-D

So would this be the worlds first elastic launched ride then?

:p
