Breakers Express Question

I see that Breaker's Express is at 1 Cedar Point Dr. Is it at the end of the causeway? Can you walk to the park? I'm staying there in September and did not notice it wasn't on park property.

Thanks,

You can not walk to the park from there. It's near the Mc Donalds outside of the park.

It may have changed, but when I stayed there last, there was no shuttle to the park eather. So your stuck paying the $10 parking fee unless you have a platinum pass.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Thanks Crazy Horse.

I've got free parking pass with my package. But if my wife and kid want to leave I was just going to stay and walk back. I guess I'll have to drop them off and head back up. BUMMER!

Depending on what type of parking pass you have, you may want to ask the parking attendant when entering the park. I think if you use it on the same day, you may be able to leave and come back without having to pay again.

I always stay at Breakers Express... It would be a hell of a walk. When you stay in any resort you get free parking. Or at least thats my experience with it. Perhaps you need to book a package, but I don't think so. You also get early entry of 1 hour.

You could always try to hitch a ride on the employee bus. lol

There are taxi vans running all over the Cedar Point area, if that helps. They seem kind of shady, and they cater mostly to the employees, but I'm sure that they wouldn't turn you down if you asked. Also, they are super cheap if you are just going from the park to Breakers Express.

I would be a heck of a walk. The police would stop you if you tried to walk between the two, because walking along the land bridge is a no no.

You could look into one of the water taxis. I think one lets off a few blocks from Breakers Express.

Just a thought.

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

I got the Halloween package at Breakers Express. Includes parking and park tickets for both days I'm there.

Thursday Kalahari
Friday-Kalahari-CP
Saturday-CP
Sunday-Home

Thanks for the info guys!

Distance aside, are you even allowed to walk the causeway?

We've always been able to leave and get back in for the duration of our stay at B.E. without paying extra. It's really not a terrible hotel. Close to the park, you get in early, and the pool is decent if you like hanging out in the hot tub for a while. We've had a couple of good stays there. Just make sure you lock your car!! We had a small break-in and someone took our mp3 player the last time we were there.

I hate people. But I love gatherings. Isn't it ironic?

Parking at Cedar Point is not typically included when you stay at Breakers Express or Castaway Bay. Some packages (like the HalloWeekends package) do include parking, but most do not. However, at check-in a parking pass is always printed with your confirmation (as all the resorts are on the same system). It's supposed to be voided but sometimes the clerk will give it to you. Act nice, smile, and ask for the parking pass.

Regardless of how you paid for your parking at CP, I've never had any trouble getting in and out throughout the day.

^ I've only ever stayed on a halloweekend package come to think of it... 4 people, 2 nights, 1.5 day, free parking, early ride time... $310. Not too bad.

Parking pass is included both days for our stay. I got same package DKNY6363 got.

Kalahari was

1.5 day water park
4 people
1 night stay
$150

When you stay at Breakers Express they do give you a parking pass to put in your window.

Why would you put a parking pass in your hotel room window?

Car window. ;)
