It's sad that people do stupid things like this, especially in places where people are trying to have fun and be happy:O)
Yes this shows those people who said/and or made it seam like SFMM was the only place capable of this nonsense see that this crap can happen anywhere.
I can see the news flash now if this ever happens at CP..........

Might have been but they did not say that!
Anyone on this board should know to stay far away from an amusement park on any holiday! Too many people and heat just don't mix well anywhere! It was damn hot here yesterday!

It's a sad time we live in when you can't even go to events on holidays without some jerks ruining it.
I knew this would happen at SF parks. You see up to 2004 what is now Geauga Lake was a Six Flags park. The Six Flags Company SUCKS as far as Management goes. Former Six Flags employees were coming in for orientation and had to be told that having your pants around your a** and your shirt untucked was unacceptable and against Cedar Fair's Dress Code. Other rules added by CF were: No cell phones in plain view or ON while you are on duty. No headphones, boom boxes, MP3's, or any other distractions while on duty. No Faddish Hair Styles, No Exposed Tattoos, Men could Not wear earrings. No excessive body piercing, ECT. When families went to Geauga Lake last year and when Six Flags owned the park they did not like the environment of the park. The Quote from most families. "We thought that we were in the Twilight Zone. We started into an amusement park and were transported into a Cleveland Hood (Eastside) with gang bangers and colors on display." Well thank God now you don't feel like you are in "THE HOOD" when you enter the park. If Six Flags does not fix the bad dress, attitude, and security of their parks, more violence will occur.*** This post was edited by 7/6/2005 6:31:35 PM ****** This post was edited by 7/6/2005 6:34:07 PM ***
Riots only happen in the Hood amidst 'gangbangers.'
College-educated 'better' kids never do that.
Never. Ever. Ever.
WRONG.
Madison Wisconsin. Small, 83% White college town had a RIOT--not a brawl, a RIOT--in 2002. Read the article. Look at that gangbanger taunting the cops or this guy kicking in a liquor store window. Why aren't his pants sagging?
And oh yeah-- before you start to whine it's an isolated incident choke on the truth just a little more. 445 people - not three, not eleven - over FOUR HUNDRED were arrested this past Halloween. Perhaps a third were from an adjoining 83% Caucasian state. That makes the third violent year in a row for rowdy, drunken, stupid out-of-control college kids that don't fit your idea of a rioter.
Go peel your race and education stereotypes from this thread and take them back home with you. It. Happens. Everywhere.
The End.

Anyhow, someone said, "No Faddish Hair Styles", what in the world does that mean? Aren't all hair-styles faddish? I'm going to guess this is a "if they don't like how you look then out you go" rule...if this is even true, no?
