Branson, MO Parks

Will be going to Branson for 5 days in 2 weeks and we still haven't decided entirely on what to do, there are a few days open in our schedule. So I want to know if Silver Dollar City will be worth the money.
SDC is a great park, Wildfire is a great B&M, ThuNderTration is one of the best minetrains there are and they have a new rocket coaster. Not to mention their shows are great, so is the atmosphere, and the water rides. Definatly worth a day.

2022 Trips: WDW, Sea World San Diego & Orlando, CP, KI, BGW, Bay Beach, Canobie Lake, Universal Orlando

Thanks, I'm probably going to add it into the schedule.
By the way, did anyone see all of those Santa Clauses in Branson last weekend? They had a convention there.

Arthur Bahl

They have the greatest go-karts along the strip too. wild Woofy has a Mt Olympus type go-kart track.

2006 - 2009 Cedar Fair Ride Operations
2009 - Walt Disney World Attractions.

Great Go-Karts along the strip in Branson. SDC also has great food. Celebration city is a nice little park that is only open at night and has a great laser show.

Er, SDC does *not* have a rocket coaster. It has a launched family coaster by S&S. Rocket coasters are an Intamin brand (well, they're actually called Accelerator coasters now, but the old versions were Rocket coasters).

It is, however, a fantastic park.

Get a City Hopper Pass and do SDC and CC on multiple days for less $ than you would pay for a single day ticket for both. Add in the White Water park option and get a really good value.

The new area of the park (SDC) is really nice as well. The Disk-O is a lot of fun and they have several other Zamperla rides there. CC dropped their admission price to $20 for this season BTW

$20? DANG THAT IS CHEAP! LOL! I can't believe that price even with seeing it. CC is definitely worth more than that IMO.

Boy, are all of you that indecisive?

A day at the park is what you make it!

Silver Dollar City up in the Ozarks does not get the attention it deserves as one of the most beautiful parks in the country. It’s definitely the most wooded park in the country, trees growing straight through the floorboards. You'll be in the shade the entire day, great news given the heat! I second Thunderation as one of the best minetrains ever built. And Powder Keg is definately a fun, unique ride.
