Art, Art, Art, everyone wants it, some need it, most don't want to pay for it.
Thanks for the compliment.
Want more fun trivia from the "Cincinnati Kids" episode of the Brady bunch shot at King's Island? Read below:
- The cast referred to the park as the "fishbowl." Because literally thousands of people came to see them film and gawk. They stayed at the King's Island Inn, then the only hotel nearby, and were infested with peeping toms and door-knocking fans.
- They filmed for one week, but by the end of the week the park was roping off entire sections for the filming angering guests and nearly closing the park.
- Robert Reed, who was supposed to be the "All American Dad" Mike Brady was too much of a wimp to ride any attractions. He whined so much that he was allowed to skip them, thus he is the only Brady to not be shown on any KI rides. Ironically, at the end of the show it is Mike Brady's idea for the whole family to take one last ride on THE rollercoaster. (The park had 3 at the time.)
- The boardroom in which Mike Brady opens the Yogi Poster is a true boardroom and it's 1970's decor still remains intact to this day.
- In the last shot of the show, the family is standing outside the real KI Administrative offices with the Beastie (then Scooby Doo) in the background. But pay attention... it is pouring rain everywhere except on the actors... they had giant rainblockers held over them out of camera shot. The windows behind them belong to offices that now are home to Jeffrey Siebert and David Mandt.
- The footage of the family riding the Racer is a mirror image of the ride. The negative was flipped when the show was edited.
- The Racer ate one steady cam when filing the on ride shots. The train was sent on a test run, and the camera shook loose.
- Other than the Yogi poster, no HB characters were shown and no filming took place inside of Hanna Barberra Land. The costumed characters used in the episode were made for the show, and were not true KI character costumes.
- The family is supposedly in the park during the early day. However the shots of Bobby and Cincy eating all the junk food reveal it was, in fact, sunset when they were filmed.
- Pay attention to the shots of International Street. The walkway was closer to the fountains, and the stores had "lawns" in front of them. The park soon remodeled International Street and removed the "lawns" and curbs because people kept tripping and falling.
- A brief shot of the Kings Island ballon amphitheatre is shown. Many do not recall it, but it existed where the "Paramount Story" now exists and housed a Sid and Marty Krofft Puppet show. The show was a transplant from Cincinnati's Coney Island.
- Most of the shots of the kids running through the park were filmed off the cuff. That is why you see whords of people blocked in the background standing behind roped off areas. They had special viewing areas for those that responded to the ads the park ran saying "Come see the Brady Bunch!"

Not to question your PKI authority but if they were in front of the admin building with the Beastie in the background then you wouldn't see Jeff's office. I haven't actually seen the full episode and can't get it quickly in order to check so I don't know exactly where they are standing. To see Jeff's office you would be looking away from the Beastie standing by Fire & Safety. I also don't know which office is Dave's but I've been in Jeff's before. Like always, I could be wrong.

Wood Rules!
Where you enter the Admin offices now was not the main entrance then. Watch the episode and you will see it was filmed on the side of the building next to Jeff and David's office. There is still a door there today.
