Apartments will stand in the place where the carousel and scrambler once spun at Bowcraft Amusement Park. After years of deliberation and false alarms, Bowcraft is finally taking the first steps toward clearing the land. The plan for the area includes about 190 apartments, around 35 of which would be affordable housing units. A ride broker has listed the rides for sale.

I seem to recall reading somewhere that Crossbow is fairly aggressive. This wouldn’t surprise me given that Verbolten, another coaster of the same Zierer ride type, has a grayout helix that lessens an otherwise fantastic ride. (That and the trains have a quite pronounced vibration.)

I rode it a couple of times.
"Aggressive" is not how I would describe it.
"Tame" is more like it.
It's definitely not an aggressive ride. Instead, it's a good ride for kids looking to get into some larger rides, while not being totally boring for the adults.
I can't imagine this thing has many miles on it, so it would be a solid purchase for a great number of small parks. I'm looking at you, Land of Make Believe (in somewhat-nearby Hope, NJ).
