Boulderdash top woodie in GTAs

Boulderdash takes the top spot for the Golden Ticket award and Eltoro comes in 2nd. Millennium Forceless takes the top spot over Bizarro which stays at #2. Cedar Point best park (no surprise there), and Outlaw Run takes the best new ride.

Golden Tickets 2013 rundown:

All the same rides and parks won all the same awards that they do every year.

can we all agree that millennium isn't even the best steel coaster at cedar point?

Dollywood -best new waterpark ride, Friendliest staff, and tied knoebels for best food. Spiderman finally loses the top spot to harry potter for best dark ride. Knoebels best Carousel (as usual). lol

No, we can not.

I wonder where a large group of coaster enthusiasts spent part of their convention in June? Nothing like a good ERT session on a great coaster to sway opinion over there to the GTA's.

Am I the only one who notices that Europa Park is on the verge of beating CP for Best Park?

And AT sold a bunch of ads they wouldn't have if the "poll" didn't exist.

Edit: Actually here's a better question. Why is New Texas Giant on the top 10 steel coasters list but Outlaw Run is on the top ten wooden coasters list?

Last edited by bjames,

Texas Giant has purely steel track, whereas Outlaw Run has a thick steel beam on top of a wooden base. (See here and here.) It's kind of a gray area that sort of comes down to marketing at this point.

Afters year's ACE European trip, don't be surprised when this trend continues...

Oh thanks I didn't know Outlaw Run had rails like that. Is that what Goliath's rails will look like too?

When you visit Lake Compounce do so on a day that favors precipitation. Rain is "ROIDS for this coaster!!!
