Well the off season bordom is still here. I can't wait for the season to start back up so we can get some news on these new coasters. I don't have a problem with post that say things like "best station" because its something to talk about. Other people do have a problem with it, but I don't see the contributing.

Best Coaster: Millennium Force
Worst Coaster: Project Stealth
Well its hitting me and Im starting to get the rollercoaster bug.About the beginging of April or when the weather starts getting nice around here, here being Maryland I start getting real ancie for a good coaster ride. That is one of the good things about Coaster buzz at least you can read and here and talk about our favorite summer time activity.RCT and Ultra coaster are a good diversion from the off season blues as well.Your not alone coastergenious I feel for ya bro!

Off season, what's that?

(Yes, I know this is a cheap shot, but we Southern California locals just love to rub your East Coast noses in it. Sorry Jeff, I just can't resist)

With all the snow were getting here in PA I think I'm gonna build a Russian Ice Slide. put a few banked turns, a few hills and I'll be set.

Not Too Shabby For A Summer
I'm bored out of my mind! My calendar at work sits right in front of me at eye level and I have the days marked off! Let's see...as of today (2/5) there's 61 more days until Opening Day at SFGA!!! Whoopee!!!! My family and friends think I've lost my mind but they've never experienced Medusa or Chiller, and on April 7th, they'll all be doing something mundane while I'm getting the rush of a lifetime on Nitro!!!! Who's crazy??
Well, I've been bored out of my mind since the Northern California season ended in October. I don't understand why our parks close here. The weather isn't that bad during the winter up here in the San Francisco Bay Area, so they shouldn't need to close. Stay open on the weekends! Sorry, I digress. I've been trying to find ways to relieve the jones for riding, even going down to SCBB and riding the Giant Dipper and the Hurricane a few weeks ago, which only partly relieved the jones. What's worse is I went to SFMW the other day to take some exterior photos of Medusa with my new digital camera, and I couldn't ride...AGHHHH!!!! Ok, I need to take a nap. ;) Peace. :)

Medusa at Marine World: the best in the west!
Yes, I'm pretty bored and aching for a coaster right about now, but going to FL in Dec for 10 days and taking a (random) one-day-road trip to SFWoA this past weekend relieved some anxiety. And CA is right around the corner for me too! March 23 can't come soon enough.

If you are looking for trouble, you found it. -- Steven Hawking
The offseason for me is quite stressful when I get a need for speed or a rush! I can't ride my bike because of snow, and sticking my head out a car window is a little too cold on my face.

Talon is going to rock, roll, and take its toll!
Im sure glad I live down here in sunny, warm Florida.Actually its been a little cold today, its dipped into the 70's.
Off season for us near knott's berry farm is December 25 to december 25. Even that's unbearable. I really have compassion for you guys on the east coast...
At least someone has compassion for us. I haven't ridden a coaster since October 14!!! I've got the coaster blues!! I can't wait until SFoG opens up and I can finally ride DeJa Vu. I'm sure that will cure my need for speed.

What is life without ups and downs!?!?
I use winter to go warm places and ride coasters! Just got back from Florida where I went to Seaworld, IOA and Busch Gardens and went to Vegas in November (sorry to brag but I had to make myself feel better since coming back to cold Michigan a few days ago!)
The offseason is very boring, but I try to keep busy. Because I don't live anywhere near a major park, my last coaster ride is in early August and I don't ride again until mid-June. This year, we're planning a trip to Florida in March, so I should be able to hit IOA. I really hope that works out 'cause I'm going nutz!
i'm shaking from withdrawl since nov 3rd, the day after PKI closed for the winter. I have april 7th highlighted in fanfare on my calendars at work. i find myself speeding down country roads over little hills just to get a taste of airtime and make regular trips to PKI just to see some action from a 1/2 mile away. i'm sick, realllly sick.....

Steel aint better, wood forever!!
SRM VII: May 11.....be there, or be ... well, not there.
Yeah, I get very anxious in he off season. Usualy construction photos help me, but there aren't any @ my home park yet!! That's ok, the season will be here soon enough...

"4 Seats are better than 2"
I cope with the offseason by mainly playing video games. Sometimes gawking at beautiful photos of new coasters doesn't help the winter withdrawl. Of course, you always have to take a peek. School keeps me plenty occupied along with Zelda, Reident Evil 3, Marvel vs. Capcom 2 , Power Stone 2, Metropolis Street Racer, and Heroes of Might and Magic 3. Looking at the cool epilptic colors on windows media player is always fun, too. (Spell Check doesn't work right now)

Coasters- a little slice of heaven
I live in the Lehigh Valley and we just got 15inches of snow! Today I made a Russian ice slide with a 10 ft., 70 degree drop followed by a 40 ft. gradually descending chute where you accelerate. For the finale, the chute dips down suddenly, then you fo over a 2.5 ft. jump and catch some air! Then you tumple into a pile of fresh powder! That rush fed the addiction and will keep me occupied.
