BooBuzz was great again this year! Super ERT with multiple re-rides on Maverick! Most folks got in around 10 laps. Great weather made things really fun.
lots of people + lots of Ride Pride staff = not so good operations!
lots of people lining up for Dragster + only loading half trains = instant 2+ hour wait!
I'm amazed how many people seem to leave all their intelligence in the car before coming into the park. I saw a lady check the wait time for a ride which had not opened yet. The sign said 15 minutes!
If they didn't set an attendance record for the year today, I'd be shocked! This TR has way too many exclamation points!
I had 7 of my 12 laps on Maverick without even getting up. My ass hurt by the time we were done. The crowds can suck it... I got enough riding in to last me to spring!
CoasterBuzz events continue to put the "E" in "ERT."

I was happy for my 10 rides on Maverick (7 without leaving the train) and getting a ride on MF, Raptor and WT before the hordes waiting at the barriers descended en masse.
20 minute waits for MaXair and Disaster Transport followed. Needless to say, by 1 pm everything had a line, including a 40 minute wait for Mean Streak, and it only got worse as the day wore on.
Not surprising considering the gorgeous weather and a holiday weekend.
I left at 6:30 pm and was amazed there were three times as many people heading into the park as there were leaving. As busy as it was during the day, I would imagine it was totally nuts Saturday night.
I'd rather die living than live like I'm dead
Loved the ERT. 8 laps. I felt like I had ridden 10 miles on a bike....very soar, but worth it!
Friday night was well spent in all of the haunts and rides (except Maverick)
We hit TTD, MF, and that about did it. Brushed up on my pinball skills in the colesium, played air hockey and then checked out the new venue for the trio back in the palace theater.
All said and done we were back to the hotel by 8:30pm for beer and Cops. The crowd was unbearable, but it always has been on nice Saturdays even during Halloweekends.
Hey! BooBuzz was my first roller coaster events and it was a lot of fun! I got to meet CPLady, Jeff, and a few unknown members but it was a pleasure to be there and riding on Maverick (my 75th coaster) like 7 laps a few times without getting off. Then I took some videos and photos before the crowds come in. It has been 5 years since the last time I was here. It was nice to see several changes since the last time I was here over the summer. I do want to thank CPLady for borrowing the glasses strap! I enjoyed being on the rides more with my glasses on! I love it! I went and bought my own for the future as well for Kings Island on Sunday.
After the Maverick ERT, I walked around and got my 76th - 78th coaster credit... had to wait in line for a while for the Gemini to run up again. While I waited... I left there and head to Iron Dragon. Iron Dragon is my favorite suspended coaster after *cough* flight deck at Kings Island. That's the only two suspended coaster I have been on thus far. Then head back to Gemini and it was still down so I just went and waited... After 20 minutes, it was opened! I rush over to the blue side since I already been on the red side 5 years ago. Score got another credit! After that I walked around and took a few more photos as I go and caught some more rides such as the train to get the "tour of Cedar Point" and more Maverick photo ops.
It was time for food! Great park food! Nice presentation from PointBuzz and Q&A from Lance and the other dude. Then it was haunted time!
I went through every one of them from 5:30 to 11:00 and caught my last ride at Cedar Point on Raptor! My two favorite haunts at Cedar Point were Cornstalker and Club Blood. The others were okay... I was expecting more from it.
After Raptor... It was time to head to Mason, OH and didn't get there till 5:00 a.m. due to a few wrong turns. Oops.
Kings Island was great on Sunday... Everything including Firehawk was a walk on! I was shocked but glad at the same time! It was great! I got to go on Delirium like 9 times in a row. Then head back to Corny Indiana. And I crashed after 6 hours of sleep total from Friday Night to Sunday Night. It was worth it thou. I can't wait to do it again!
If you would like to see some of the photos that I took... I post in two albums in my facebook... eventually I will be adding it to my site. And contribute some here on CoasterBuzz. :-D
