Dang. I knew I should have renewed my Coasterbuzz membership earlier this year. 2 weeks is so close!

Seems to me Jeff is pretty good with processing membership cards before coaster events. I certainly hope so as I have two pending right now myself. :)

Yeah it is usually very fast. Just don't Fedex your membership request to his house. I seem to remember that method not working out so well in the past haha.

Just ask Jeff to wait outside of the park gate to give you your membership card. He's a nice guy!

If you join this weekend, I'll mail out the cards Tuesday morning. The USPS is slow, but they're not that slow. :)

Sweet. I got all mine submitted last night. Even if you have an active membership somewhere, 2 weeks is pretty short notice for getting off work for many people. Maybe this was a case where CP just recently decided they would also invite enthusiasts to an otherwise media-only event?

Over on Pointbuzz, Walt confirmed that the upcoming Friday the 13th event is completely FREE for coaster club members. No season pass or ticket is required.

In my opinion, this is an even bigger deal than inviting coaster club members to GateKeeper media day. $25 Coasterbuzz membership gets you...

Will be interesting to see how many people attend. "Free" tends to attract a lot of people.

It attracted a lot on Media Day when the only thing expected to be open was GateKeeper

True, but many have already ridden GateKeeper at this point. There has not been any official public announcement of this event, and likely will not be. I'm really expecting it to feel a lot like BooBuzz, which is kinda ironic.
