Does anyone know who designed the two coasters? How do you pronounce the park's name? This park looks a little too sedate for me, but my dad would love it.
The mine train is Morgan as well as many of the flat rides, and it looks like Timbers is a Zierer ------------- "Autobots: Transform and roll out!"
I find it quite interesting that this park will be operating in some regards like a non-profit organization, donating much of its proceeds to park beautification projects in the California area. That's got to be a first!
Looks really nice too, the circus trees are amazing.
Where is this place? Is it in Northern California?
Southbay...about 60 miles south of San Francisco...Gilroy is an agricultural area famous for garlic that has in recent years become a bedroom community for Silicon Valley.
The park is pronounced Bon-fon-tay Gardens.
It might be sedate, but there's more to a park experience than asphalt and rides. I think this goes back to Disney's "original" dream. I can't wait to take my family there. It was already a great place when it was only used for company picnics a few years back...now it's going to be REALLY cool. Great job Mike!!!
