Bomb scare at I-X forces people oustside

I just came across this little blurb about a bomb threat at the I-X indoor amusement park.

I don't understand why anybody would call in a bomb threat. I mean, I'm thinking like a bomber here..I'd think that if you were going to set off a bomb the one thing you would NOT do would be to call the venue and tell the authorities where to find it.

The exception, of course, is if the bomb is attached to a specific threat. "Meet my demands or the bomb that you can't find goes BOOM." But from the sound of it, it was more like, "Guess what: There's a bomb in the building. Ha ha ha ha."

It just doesn't make sense.

Sure it does. You're bored, you don't know how to make a bomb, but you think it might be funny to watch people run around as if there was one.
