Boblo Islands 2 coasters (park closed)

Okay, I remember there were at least two coaster on Boblo Island. The Silver Streak (steel and wood, out and back) and and indoor coaster.

Does anybody remember the name of the indoor coaster? Was it a coaster, or something else i remember as a coaster? Please help if you have information, this ride is not listed with the other coasters but I remember it being there.

Thanks

I think it was nightmare and it was a coaster.  I never went to Boblo but I had freinds that did, all I ever remeber about it was teh commercials on TV .

Does CCI know how to make a bad coaster?

The out-n-back was the Sky Streak.  It was steel and mfg. by Sensi.  It's now down in Mexico somewhere.

The indoor coaster was called Nightmare.  Yes, it was a coaster and is now running as the Mayan Mindbender at Six Flags Astroworld.

FYI - if you were looking for these coasters in the Coasterbuzz database, they're listed under their current locations.

Thanks Guys...

Was there any other coasters at Boblo I have forgotten?

They had a Vekoma Corkscrew, and some kiddie coaster.
There was also an enclosed mouse coaster in the mid/late seventies named 'Flight to Mars'.  Exactly when it was dismantled I can't recall, but I think it was gone by the time the Vekoma corkscrew was operational.

If memory serves, at one point they also had a wooden wild mouse, eventually closed, followed by a steel wild mouse, whose name I cannot recall. The "Flight to Mars" was more of a traditional dark ride ( a la Knoebels' Haunted Mansion) albeit with a lift and a couple drops/hills.  For an exhaustive (and I mean exhaustive) history of the island, go to http://www.chebucto.ns.ca/~ak621/CEC/ClosPark.html  and scroll down a bit.

Thanks for all the info everyone...

I have forgotten everything that Boblo was. To bad it is not open still, it had a feel that the other parks still lack in. perhaps it was the boat ride over...
