Boblo island boat to be moved.

The Boblo island boat the "st clair", is to be moved from its dock in river rouge(sp) michigan to a new home that was not disclosed.

There has been many attempts at doing a restoration on the boat including doing a a haunted house on the boat to raise money the last few halloweens.

It will take 5 million more to restore the boat.

I just saw the St. Clair the other day from here in Windsor, that must have been when they were moving it. I so miss Bob-Lo.

The boat ride to and from the park was what made a trip to Boblo unique. I can strill see Captain Boblo selling Boblo coloring books. So sad that the park is gone. It would be nice if there was a way to recondition the boat and do something with it.
