Boardwalk Bullet

Does any one have any recent photos of the construction of BB? The most recent photos are from 4/4. I have not heard much buzz about this new woodie in TX other than the excitement from the announcement.

Edit to hopefully fix the link.

Thanks for the photos. It is really coming along. I am doubtful of a summer opening. It looks more like a fall opening to me.

I'm hoping to grab some Bullet rides on July 21st. They've got three months. It's gonna be close. *** Edited 4/20/2007 9:14:53 PM UTC by Acoustic Viscosity***

This looks like a fantastic ride, but another benefit? The next time someone tells us "Cedar Point is running out of room" or "Park X doesn't have space for any more coasters" we have this to point to instead of boring old Indiana Beach and Blackpool.

I mean not that they're boring. Just repetitive.

What I don't understand is, Why TGG isn't doing any updates or even claiming it?

I have a guess that they are rather busy with several projects Including Ravine Flyer II but the site hasn't been updates since last spring.

The first link to the photos doesn't work because it is missing the "www" at the front. Haven't figured out what is causing that issue yet.

Also, I just added some photos today if you are interested.

Probably just a case of priorities. They know how many coasters they want to build a year and they know how many projects they have on the horizon. I'm betting the outlook is sunny.

I hope it's because they have too many new woodies to work on right now. :)

At home with the Rampage

I know on my summer trip to SFFT I am hoping to make a quick stop to ride it.

Bolliger/Mabillard for President in '08 NOT Dinn/Summers

Quick stop? Um, you are aware that Kemah is 3 hours, 45 minutes from San Antonio, right?

From the looks of the coaster, it will be worth the drive.

That actually would be considered a quick stop in Texas :) Nearly an hour of that drive is just driving through the Houston metro area (if traffic is flowing at the speed limit)

I'll be in New Orleans in late August [yeah, I know...I don't have a choice] and will make the 5-hr drive to ride Bullets Over Broadwalk ;)
TGG does it again.

2005 -- Hades (Mt. Olympus)

2006 -- The Voyage (Holiday World)

2007 -- Boardwalk Bullet (Kemahs Boardwalk)

2008 -- Ravine Flyer 2 (Waldameer -- currently under construction)

Stand by for more excitement.
