B&M's that have valleyed?

yeah they started using that on here around the time that Vampire was being built for La Ronda.

Alex Nagel said:Soggy the difference between B&M and lets say Vekoma or Premier (specially B&R:TC) is that their hasn't been an rollback that was loaded (that I know of at lease).

Actually, Raptor did roll back with a full load of passengers during the first year of operation. The park emptied the train rather quickly considering it was "parked" on the section of track exiting the cobra roll.

You meant "namtaB" right? What you typed almost looks like Gambit, which is now B:TR at SFNO.

:)

Isn't tibmaG also a mirror like StL's....quick check on rcdb reveals that it IS....

...but I guess we now have to call it "namtaB-II, the return of the mirror"...

Yah know, I'm sure every single rollercoaster ever built (with the exception of impulses) have valleyed. When they run them for the first time, they tend to valley. When they are run for the first time in preparation for a new season they tend to valley.

I think the question would be better phrased, "Which coasters have never valleyed?"

Hmmm, ThunderRun at PCW

So does that make SFA's hyper "namrepus"?

And SFMM's Floorless "asudem"? *** Edited 11/26/2003 5:35:12 PM UTC by ApolloAndy***

Has anyone bothered to mirror an SLC? The footprint is pretty much rectangular so I can't imagine the need, but...

How do they get them back to the station? Do they remove them from track or is there another way?

When GAdv's B:TR vallied 2nd day of the season, they winched it back to the station. It just failed to make the last turn, so it wasn't too hard an ordeal. They had two winches and fastened one to the cross ties and pull the train up a bit and then take the other off and fasten it further up track and pull the train again. No disassembly.

How they get Robin back (which was vallied on the same day) may (or may not) be totally different.
