B&M Woodie - CoasterBuzz

What are your ideas if B&M were to ever decide to build a woodie, what would it look like, feel like. I am guessing that it would use steel supports with as elegant/minimal structure as possible.

Actually, B&M already has experience with wood coasters. The Psyclone at SFMM uses B&M trains.

I'd love to see B&M build 4 across seating for a woodie Like the Apollo's Chariots or Raging Bull trains.

I don't think psyclone is 4 across is it. That is too bad because that is a really rough coaster, I hope they could do better than that.

Isn't the loop for Son Of Beast made by B&M???

No, I am not insulting you. A lot of rumors fly around the coaster world and that's one I've never heard before. Personally I find it a little farfetched, but that's just me. If there was any unintentional offense conveyed in that post, I apologize.

I think the idea of B&M making a woodie stinks.I find a majority of their steelys just a little to smooth for them to make the transition from steely to wood,and by the way the loop on SOB is being made by Premeier.

B&M would put 7 loops in it!

The Vekoma Woodie are BEST!!!!

I can't wait until SFMM gets their Vekoma woodie in 2002.

Vekoma has just built 1 Woodie, but this one is very smooth and fun to ride. Next year Vekoma will built a Woodie at Walibi Wavre near Brussel, this themepark will become SIX FLAGS BELGUIM! you mean the loop isn't finished yet? Maybe that's why SOB had so much trouble.

Since when is SFMM getting a Vekoma woodie in 2002? They haven't started building the actual roller coasters for 2001, yet. I think SFMM will take a break in 2002, there was Goliath in 2000, and the three new ones for 2001.
