B&M track spotted in Ohio!

While driving north yesterday on my way to the PO!NT for day 1 of CoasterCon, I happened to catch this on a northbound freight close to Rt. 4 (the old Pennsy line to Sandusky). You can imagine my surprise.....it looked like Raptor track but was hard to tell from a distance. I doubt it was headed for Geauga but who knows. Any ideas?

Isn't B&M track manufactured in Ohio?

If so, it could be going anywhere.

Picture looks a little fake to me.

Could be for Dorney Park, and their new Hydra coaster.
Green... Hydra... checks out in my book, but we won't know for a while.

Same here, too fake.

It's fake... unless there is now a CoasterDynamix set that is lifesize.... look at the ties and such... its not real...

I don't think Brad would post fake pics.

It looks like coaster track on a train to me.

Definitely fake. The crossties on the track are too think. B&M cross ties are about half that size in thickness. Also, B&M ship their track via truck, not train.

It might not be fake, but it ain't no B&M.

Not the photo the track was taken from but it is CoasterDynamics track...

It's fake because:

- The lighting in the image of the flatbed and track is completely off

- That piece of track, if it were real, would not have been placed on the flatbed in that way nor would it have been tied down like that

- The rails are extremely pixelated and are not smooth

- The track ties are another big giveaway that it's fake

The picture defies gravity. There is no way the track could sit on the car like that. There would need to be something in the center in the back for it to balance in that position. Also, magnified, the reopes look terrible. Speaking of that, they are not true ties, tehy are lines that would look like rope. Looked good for a minute, but on magnification.... no go.

Here's another view of the picture... enhanced with a high pass in photoshop... I still think you should draw your own conclusions.

Well, Brad is an animator/artist...

So *that's* how you got the Raptor model to CoasterCon! And here I thought you put it in a truck..silly me. Is that HO scale? Bet that trip took awhile all the way from Columbus to Sandusky, unless the rest of it got there via RC cars and airplanes ;) 10 points for CoasterDynamix track creativity though.
Its on a train. Rollercoaster track traveling by Train? Give me a break. Fake.

Well, if it is fake, then I feel like an ass. :)

Brad, you going to respond?

As much as I'd like to believe Brad, I believe he pulled a fast one on us.....looks fake to me:)
