I've been on Appolo's Chariot, and I wasn't at all impressed. I think B&M should just make their famous loopers.

I've never ridden Appllo's Chariot, but I can say that Raging Bull (SFGAm) is one of, if not THE best coaster I have ridden. It is a speed coaster too, but it has a more interesting layout. It twist and turns all over the place. From the pictures I've seen, Apollo's Chariot is basically an out and back design. Maybe that's why you were not impressed ?
I'm a big fan of inversions too, but so far I haven't been lucky enough to ride a B&M looper (not counting the Stand-ups and suspended ones).
If you ever get up north, be sure to ride Raging Bull. You opinion of Apollo's Chariot may not change, but your opinion of B&M speed coasters will.
Is RB a still considered a "speed coaster" ? I've heard it called a hypercoaster, hyper twister and a speed coaster. I guess it's all of the above really.
Anyway, Apollo's Chariot still looks like a good ride to me.
Don't get me wrong, I have seen many photos of Raging Bull, and I think it looks like a great ride. But since I will not get to go to SFAm untill after college (9 years!) I probably won't change my mind. Fortunately, I will ride Nitro this summer and I hop to God it is more than AC. Nitros layout looks like a combo of AC and RB, but will it be great? Only time will tell (until I ride it).

Apollo's Chariot is amazing! Whatcha talking about!? My favorite drop is the one directly after the helix...airtime like crazy.
About the names....speed coaster, hyper coaster, mega coaster...it doesn't matter.
Why didn't you like Apollo's Chariot? How many rides did you take and where did you sit? (99.99%) of people seem to think Apollo is a world class ride. I'm really interested in why you have such a negative opinion of it. I personally have loved every second of Apollo, Bull, and Nitro!

Apollo is my #1 coaster! It is full of FLOJECTOR airtime! My favorite hill is the final one! I love the airtime on that!
