B&M inverted track arrives in the UK

for any of you that want to know, B&M inverted track arrived in the UK yesterday for the new B&M inverted currently being constructed at thorpe park. the ride is called nemesis inferno, not to be confused with nemesis, the B&M inverted at alton towers!
You forgot that the colour is some kind of dark red i think. Which will fit with the volcanic theme well. I hope i'll get to see the track on some pics soon so i can see how they looks like
Did you contribute it to the news? I thought thorpe park was in Germany... Shows what I know about Europe huh???

Planned parks: Astroland, Knoebel's, Hersheypark, SFNE, SFGadv,SFGam,CP,PKI,PKD,PCW,HW,Indiana Beach,SFWOA,SFKK,SFDL,SFSTL,Lakemont,DelGrosso's... Need I say more?

thorpe park is in england and is home to the most looping coaster in the world. it is also my home park!

Yeah, Thorpe's in england, your thinking of Heide Park i think...

and i havent contributed this to news as there is no clear evidence like pictures yet
If there is no clear evidence, how do you know track arrived? Did you see it in person? Did somebody tell you?
a few people have said they have seen it and it has been confirmed by people that work at the docks.

thorpes my home park when im living in england.

ive already put it in the news, i did that as soon as i found out about it on TPG and coasterforce

ive also told everyone at coasterglobe.

ill probably keep posting news and updates on the construction in the main page, to keep yall updated

Hi Laurence!

I'm in Manchester and don't get to Thorpe that often, was there on Tuesday though, saw more footers being poured, and the steelwork for the station looked fairly complete, just my luck to miss track delivery by a couple days!

Last time was there was for Colossus opening, when it ran really smooth...haven't the wheels got rattly and screechy already!?

So people have been saying but I dont care because it is still a wicked coaster.

Well before we know it we will be riding Inferno. I remember looking at the footers for colossus and before I knew it I was on it. Time goes quickly!!

This will, overall, be one amazing coaster I think! Roll on 2003 and it will be great to see track on sight soon!

Does anybody have a layout of this coaster.

I can't understand why they would call it Nemisis Inferno, why not just leave it at Inferno, could this be a plot to steal visitors from Alton Towers?

La Vie Boheme!!!

a layout can be seen here:

note the interlocking corkscrews, a world first on a single inverted coaster.

and colossus does suffer from quite a few vibrations at the back on train 1, but nothing to major

Dude, why would a Tussauds do that to there own park?!! It's probably ment to sound like a sequal, kinf of like Beast and Son of Beast, or Batman Knight Flight and Batman Dark Knight.

what most UK enthusaists think is going to happen is that it is just being called nemesis inferno for marketing purposes so people know what kind of ride it is going to be. after the first season of operation or maybe even before that, it will only be called inferno.
When Six Flags and Paramount use the EXACT same name for 3 or 4 different types of coaster it really get confusing.

The Nemesis bit is for the inital marketing since most of the visitor to theme parks in the UK will at least know of Nemesis and can then build up a image of the ride. I would say an indivual identity would have been better. The Nemesis bit will however be dropped later, some member of park management has already confirmed this.

Edit: A post saying this got there while I was typing however it will go before the ride opens and is really just for the in-park promo boards etc...
