B&M Coaster Names

I think that B&M coaster names are the best. Look at the names, Medusa, Talon, Raptor, Falcon, Alpengeist, the list goes on...

Alien Ant Farm rules!
Yeah but how does Great Bear fir in there?

LOL

Really Its not just B and M's with great names.  I love the names of all the coasters at CP with the exception of Corkscrew, PKI has greta names and no B and M's, even Faceoff.

don't forget Montu, but then agian theres always exceptions like Mantis.

Montu, God Of Coasters

Raging Bull, Don't Fight It, Ride It

In case you didn't know

B&M does not name their rides, The parks do.

G5, Superman Krypton Coaster, Batman way too many times, Georgia Scorcher just to name a few.

I think Kumba is one of the best names, B&M or not. Since Kumba is so loud, and it is in an African themed park, Roar (in the Congo launguage) is a perfect name.

I like Raging Bull, the rides great and the names great and it goes perfect with the themeing.

Falcon? I don't believe there is an existing B&M by the name of Falcon, unless you are reffering to the rumored inverted coaster that is heading for Valleyfair! within the next two seasons. Don't give your hopes up too early because you might just get a ride next year by the good ole' name of Boomerang, following suit after Worlds Of Fun. ;)

...sigh.... the curse of the Boomerang. Us WoFers know it well...

Hold on Tight, Because the Mamba is about to Stirke!

My favorites are definitely Kumba, Alpengeist, Kracken and Montu such creative names and they each fit the coaster perfectly.
I just can't understand why anyone still builds a standard boomerang anymore.
Actually, I can, they are cheap and have a small footprint.
But thats no excuse....

29 years and still screaming.

Good names for good coasters I suppose. Crappy boomerangs get crappy names. Did I solve the puzzle? How much do I win? :)

That's because Busch is the best at "natural themeing" around. You can throw Loch Ness Monster and Drachen Fire into that mix as well...and they are ARROW coasters.

And I actually enjoyed HersheyPark's boomerang the second time I rode it.

The names I like are Alpengeist, Kumba, Katun, Nemesis, Raging Bull, Oblivion, Raptor, Talon, and Banshee (if CP would have kept the original name for Mantis).

Kraken is one of my personal faves. I always named at least one coaster in most of my RCT parks Kraken, so I was very glad to see a real one open with that name! I might add that B&M did a FLAWLESS job on that one too. Kraken ROCKS!
