B&M: Are they Over-rated?

After my trip to IOA, SFFT, and other places last year, I cme to realize that B&M greats are overrated.

The Hulk's launch is wonderful, but the rest of the ride is too smooth, and I like jumping around in seats (but not like a woodie).

Same with Superman: Krypton Coaster, The Ice Dueling Dragon, Montu, and Medusa.

My main problem is that smooth is god, but B&Ms are too smooth. Anyone agree?

Let the bashing wars begin. It seems like every time a post like this is made, everyone gets in a fight... BUT, I do agree with you to some degree. I love B&M's, they are great coasters, IMO Kumba is the perfect B&M. Not too smooth (maybe one or two spots your head touches the OTSRs), yet very powerful, and just an overall great ride.

OMG, this may big the biggest coaster battle to date, MAN YOUR BATTLE STATIONS, MAN YOUR BATTLE STATIONS.

Smoothness is the good part about B&M, every company has their great attributes, B&M is great, smooth, $$$$, rides.

Kinda I like Raptor but Hulk is way over rated.

They may be over rated to you, but many people think they're the best.

This all comes down to that old personal preference thing. In the end, it all doesn't matter. All that matters is that you have fun riding. If what someone else thinks changes the way you feel about a ride.....

This seems like a vs. thread. Sorry, but your boring me. Stop overanalyzing rides, and just have fun. This seems to be a huge problem for some people.
