Blue Streak Challenge call for pledges

Hello all, I was wondering if anyone from this forum is participating in the Third Annual Blue Streak Challenge at Conneaut Lake Park? This event, to be held Saturday, September 6, 2003, is being held to raise much needed funds for the historic Blue Streak roller coaster. For more information visit:

Although registration is now closed, everyone is invited to come out and cheer the 14 riders on the way to their goal (you can even ride with them for $3.00 a ride if you would like).Or, you can just show your support by sponsoring a rider.

I understand that there is a small "challenge" between 2 or 3 members of URC( and possibly another at RRC). If you would like to sponsor a rider in the name of CoasterBuzz please email my wife, Lisa Corbly, at: coasterbooks@comcast.net with your
pledge amount & your mailing address and a note that you are pledging from CoasterBuzz. She will send you a SASE in which to mail your check.
Also, this year coastersbysteve is making up t-shirts for the
participants & will have extras. We'll be putting the names of all of her sponsors into a drawing for a shirt, 1 entry/$5 pledged.
