Blood Sucking Fun - CoasterBuzz

This morning while reading the Kids Post section of The Washington Post i saw an article called Blood Sucking Fun that talked about Romania wanting to build a Dracula amusement park. In the article it says "The park will feature a ghost castle with torture chambers and restaurants serving 'scary meat jelly.' Some groups don't want the park, saying that it would spoil the town's medieval character. But Romanian Tourism Minister Dan Agathon said: 'Any rumors saying that we intend to move the location of Dracula park or give up the project are simple fabrications.'"

I was just wondering if anybody else heard or knows anything about this.

I posted this yesterday, but had nothing other than the CNN scrolling banner mentioning some sort of approval for the project. (snippage) Romania has apparently given some sort of go-ahead to the Transylvania theme park....first ride "The Bat", a B&M dive machine that takes riders SIX FEET underground.....Second ride, the Impaler, an S&S turbo-drop onto "virtual" spikes.....

Since I caused a *bit* of confusion last time, let me state categorically these are NOT the park's rides, they are the creations of one truly twisted mind....MINE!

Yikes. Its scary looking at my old posts.....and yours gator! LOL. Still, it would be cool to have tombstones lined up above the tunnel, so you get the "living dead" effect when the train bursts out of the ground.

You said it AG. :) My news post turned downright punny!

Read a small snippet in yesterday's paper, no online link though. It said 'Dracula theme park undead' and that it's going ahead despite opposition from heritage groups worried its kitsch attractions will be out of keeping the medieval surroundings. Plus a goverment spokesman said any rumours that they intend to give up the project are fabrications.

My home park has a Boomerang called the 'Demon' & in it's first TV ad, after the first ride, a girl in line asks a now-demonic rider "how was it?" & his reply was "I vink I've been to Hell and back!"

That would fit in this park very well, me thinks. ;)

I would love to see Twisted Ideas like these...
