The blocks appear to work as designed. The weirdness about them is that they tend to kick the trains through if they're going slower than a certain speed, which is kind of odd.
Who knows what we'll find in the final retail version!
I'm working to get a preview with video and screenshots up soon. Got my book revision deadline right now, so my priorities are obviously there.

In your build, do the block brakes abruptly stop the train for a moment, even though it's all clear ahead (like it does now in the demo)?

I've seen coasters do that before Greg, or maybe it just felt that it was going faster inside the station.
