Blackout on MF?

I found it very odd that on this last trip to CP I almost completely blacked out coming down the second hill on MF.  I really had to fight not passing out.  I have ridden it, and many other coasters, before and never had this experience.  Has anyone else had this happen?  Maybe I can't take the Gs?  I'm curious to hear your replies...
Did you have your eyes closed or was it dark out?

I often in a grayout, and blacked out even once, but that was on a 95 degree day after I rode it 10 times, had not eaten and got about 3 hours of sleep the night before. Not a good idea.

I hear people talk about it all the time. they often say something along the lines of, "that's weird, I don't think i closed my eyes for a few seconds at that part".

That's not an uncommon experience, especially on coasters that produce high G's. People have blacked out, or come close to, many times during the helix of Goliath.

Don't worry, you're not going crazy. hehe ;)

Which hill are you talking about - coming out of the overbanked turn or the 182' camelback? The reason I ask is my wife  consistanly greys out coming out of the first turn, which is in actuality the second hill.

So many coasters - so little time.

coming off the first overbanked turn i saw black spots

I also thought I blacked out on MF, but my son says "Mom, you just had your eyes closed".
I do know that I WAS in shock (it was my first time).
Yes it seems I'm not the only one who once greyed out after that first overbanked turn.  I wonder what the problem is?

Problem?

There's no problem. If a coaster designed wants to make a ride really intense, then they do just that, and put up those little signs at the beginning of the queue line. "Due to the magnitude and intensity of this ride..."

I've (fortunalely) never had any (grey/black)outs on a rollercoaster. I *did* have one while standing still on solid ground, but that's too embarrassing of a story to tell here. Besides, it's o/t :-)

Thanks for your replies.  Seems like it happens often.   Anyway, can't wait to ride it again.

Chaindog--it is the same hill as your wife.
