Illegal theme park ticket sales are a serious problem in Orlando, with a unit of seven officers is cracking down on offenders. A 2001 murder case has been attributed to a police informant's involvement in busting the illegal ticket trade.

Honestly, considering the amount of money involved in theme park tickets (esp. with O-town tix now over $60, selling at 63.63 at last check), it's not that surprising that they're either counterfeited or otherwise illegally obtained for sale...

Joe, considering that now they're doing BOGO on park tix, seems "a little steep" to me to charge that heavily for a second park, when you're forced to TRY and do it all in one day...
